About the Author
John E. Simonds is a retired Honolulu newspaper editor who has lived in Hawaii for nearly forty years. His poetry has appeared in Connecticut River Review, Bamboo Ridge Press, Hawaii Pacific Review, and New Millennium Writings. He is the author of Waves from a Time-Zoned Brain. He lives with his wife, Kitty, on Oahu.

2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Poetry In The Realms of Times Now and Times Forgotten By Dr. R. D. B. Laime One might expect great things from John E. Simonds. A first rate reporter in earlier times, and now as he looks back in life he turns to poetry(his second book). Some of his poems will bring memories of grand things in the past. Others will simply be reminders that a keen mind like John can weave webs of grandeur. Even if poetry is not your thing, his poetry will delight anyone who would care to read his grand writing.
