The photographs and line drawings are fantastic, and the final pages showing the side views of all of the boats from 1961 to 2013 is amazing.

By Amazon Customer I have been a C class fan for a long time and information and history is hard to come by, so this book really fills a gap. The best source of history and data I have found so far, but then again this is a book a wished existed so when it was published I promptly bought it.Wonderful pictures and the fantastic story about the cup through the ages, which makes it possible to follow the trends and technological refinement.

Ellis I was disappointed with this book, both with the small number of recipes (a total of 25) and the poorly written instructions, including numerous typographical errors. For example, the "cucumber basil" recipe says to let the sliced cucumbers sit in coriander for 30 minutes. However the ingredient list did not include coriander. Then I realized the author probably meant "colander" instead of "coriander." As I was trying to comprehend other recipes, I wondered if English is not the author's first language, in which case the publisher should have done a better job of editing. In any event, when I am cooking I don't like having to guess at what the cookbook author actually meant.

This is not just made up of throwing a bunch of vegetables together- try it, because chances are pretty good you'll be eating veggies more than before!

Having a garden of my own, it makes a lot of sense to begin to dry the herbs that we do not use fresh. I especially liked the shortness. It did not require me to spend all day reading, yet I feel like I attended a full day workshop - the information was so complete. From growing your own herbs, to drying them by various methods, my favorite was the in depth breakdown of each of the herbs and the various benefits they each carry. The author did a great job of researching each one and then summarizing all of the info into this very handy book! Interesting and informative, I recommend it to all cooks, gardeners and families who want to dry their own.

Drying the herbs are essential to preserve it and be able to use it anytime. I've been growing herbs in my garden for years now, but having tried drying them. Now I know some of the basics of herb drying and be able to preserve some of the herbs I use at home. Altogether a great book that covers everything if you are new to drying herbs!
