By Amazon Customer This is a great book for anyone who enjoys fly-fishing for pike and aspires to travel to some incredible hotspots near and far to chase after these fish. While not the same heft as his groundbreaking first book Muskie on the Fly, author and esox expert Robert Tomes does a very good job of providing a ton of information on not only where to go, but also where to stay, local resources, who to contact for more information, guides and even exactly when to go. I especially liked the inspired layout which includes detailed and regional maps for each destination. And the pike photos are simply spectacular. Well worth the price and definitely a wonderful reference for years to come.

The Deep End of the Sky, by Chad Lee Robinson

About the Author CHAD LEE ROBINSON was born in 1980 in Pierre, South Dakota and grew up along the banks of the Missouri River. He continues to live there with his wife Kimberly and son Nathan, and works as the manager of his father’s grocery store. It was in 2002, Robinson’s final year at South Dakota State University, that David Allan Evans, poet laureate of South Dakota, introduced him to haiku by sharing a translation of Basho’s haiku about a crow on a bare branch. The attraction was immediate, and Robinson has since devoted all of his creative energy to haiku, senryu and tanka. Much of his work is about small towns and the Great Plains. Robinson’s first chapbook of haiku, Pop Bottles , won the 2009 True Vine Press Summer Chapbook Competition, and was published by the press that same year. His second chapbook of haiku, Rope Marks, was one of eight winners in The Snapshot Press eChapbook Awards 2011, and was published by the press in 2012. Along with his achievements as a poet, Robinson has served the Haiku Society of America as Plains & Mountains regional coordinator (2006-2011 and again in 2014). He is also a panelist for The Haiku Foundation’s Touchstone Distinguished Book Awards. Robinson also edited Gone Fishing, a Per Diem: Daily Haiku feature that appeared on The Haiku Foundation’s website in September 2014.

Olinger The Deep End of the Sky, by Chad Lee Robinson, was published in 2015 by Turtle Light Press (Arlington, VA, U.S.A). His book is beautiful, and the design by Rick Black works well with his poems. Many of his haiku are about images that are also connected with memories I hold dear, and what I see often in Wisconsin: fields, sky, seasons, flowers. His poems also honor the generations. I can envision people from many places enjoying this excellent book.

By Griffin Established author and avid shooter Robert Kay has recently pieced together one of the most complete guides for a firearm I’ve ever encountered and it happens to be for one of my favorite firearms to boot! How To Buy an AK goes above and beyond just what to look for and includes the knowledge that usually takes most shooters quite a while and a few hundred dollars’ worth of mistakes to learn. Such a wealth of information was compiled into one source that is easy to read and includes plenty of pictures to clarify and enhance your understanding of the world’s most produced and yet often misunderstood firearm. How did he do it? Rather than reprint fan-boy rants from the internet Rob took it upon himself to interview the top-dogs in the industry, even giants that rival one another in their markets, and pick their brains for the wisdom they quietly acquired over years of experience. While most American shooters were too busy finding their favorite AR accessory in the latest tacticool color men like Jim Fuller and Marc Krebs were quietly working away on what was often referred to as, “the enemy’s gun”, and learning not just why so many nations had adopted the AK, but also identifying how to improve it. Kay’s book is invaluable for newcomers and established shooters alike. I spent countless hours over the years since researching practically every source I could find, reading books, magazine articles, and online forums, and watching documentaries and YouTube videos, all in an effort to educate myself about the AK platform of rifles, its variants, its capabilities, and its accessories and modifications. Everything I could possibly have come to learn on my own about the AK— and much MORE— have been neatly compiled in this book. The book is priced right for the length and there is a section in the back that lists supplements and supplemental therapies to boost the immune system. If you are sick with Lyme and sick and tired of nothing else working, read this book. It will send you in the right direction and a good start is better than going around in circles and being forever ill.

The recipes in this book are quick and easy, anyone can make and enjoy them! As I was reading through the recipes, my mouth started watering! I want to taste them all! Tasty drinks when you are on a paleo diet By Amazon Customer If you switched to a paleo diet but miss your favorite smoothies and drinks, this book written by Lisa Gottlieb comes as a boon for you as it is a collection of some yummy and nutritious drinks that are quick and easy to make. There are more than 50 shakes, smoothies, and juices described in detail in this book. You can prepare these drinks to include them in your daily diet as a snack or as a weight loss recipe.

The pictures are clear and vivid, the timing is set and the layout of the book is satisfactory. Can't wait to start with making the Green Cantaloupe. Just love how appetizing the recipes seem.
