By Brenda Rose The author gifted me this book when she saw how I was struggling with trying to eat low carb and it couldn’t have come at a better time in my life. I’ve been struggling with eating too many carbs and the thought of having to eat bland chicken and veggies with low fat dressing sounded, frankly, gross. The thing that always stopped me from moving forward with low carbs is everything sounded awful. I guess that's because I had a pre-conceived idea of what a low carb menu is.Well, I'm a believer now; low carb isn't what I thought at all. I have eaten low carb foods but usually prepared at a restaurant. Since the last thing I'm going to do is spend a lot of time preparing food I just couldn't wrap my brain around all of this. Okay, I was ignorant, my pre-conceived ideas have been challenged by this book.Most of the recipes in the 14 days 14 pounds book are really simple, perfect for low carb dummies like me. Now, I haven't been able to try all of the recipes because there are so many. If you love chicken try the Spinach Stuff Chicken for sure, but my favorite (so far) is the Sausage Breakfast Casserole. Oh, and the hot chocolate Almonds!

Everything is explained, you also get daily meal plans, cheat snacks, recipes by carb count, what beverages to drink...
