About the Author Christie Tebbets is the Founder & President of SmartFit, LLC, an online personal training company, an ACE certified Personal Trainer and dedicated runner. She runs 5k's to marathons and has a number of awards in her age category. Christie ran her first Boston Marathon in 2014. She has been a trainer for 15 years and has helped may people start and stick with a running program. She has written this guidebook as the result of a successful Facebook group she held called "8 Weeks To a 5K" in which she coached a group of people through every detail that you will read about and learn from in this guidebook. Christie is 45 years old, a wife and the mother of a young son. They enjoy living and running in Maine.
